Netaji...Nobody Remembers

Searched all the news papers today, from English to Hindi, each and every page....
each one of the corner....
but, was not able to find "Subhash Chandra Bose" as a word......
There is no programme on the news channels talking about Netaji....nor any channel showing about his life..

Let me speak truly that i could not believe that this is the same India for which people like Subhash Chandra Bose gave their life.....
Friends , today is India's biggest freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose's birth anniversary.....but no one has the time to remember him....
Everyone is busy with the opportunities they have got for today...some political party is bust choosing its president.....some state is going through the internal revolt of the ministers...and some are busy covering the news of the justice sharma giving report of the gangrape.....

What has made us so busy that we have forgot Netaji...fail to understand....

if it would have been Mahatma Gandhi's birthday...everyone would have celebrated it like one's own father's birthday....

Are we only born to praise the Gandhi family....and that too the people who are not real Gandhi's ....they are Nehru's who have just imbibed Gandhi as their surname.....

Let's remember "Subhash Chandra Bose" as a true revolutionary and a person who would have changed India, if fate would have given him a chance....

The Adjective – Delhi Gang Rape.

Ha Ha Ha...
I just cannot stop laughing today not of happiness but because of the poor state of the country which we live in.
I laughing out of sadness which has engulfed my mind fully, I am laughing as sarcasm on the government the people and most of all on our country and myself.
Yeterday was 16th January most of you must have already forgotten that it will one month since the barbaric gangrape attack of JYOTI SINGH PANDEY.
Yes I am talking about the so hyped Delhi Gang Rape.
I just fear that it does not become an adjective after some time because every news I read these days they definitely mention Delhi Gang Rape once for sure weather its a women winning 5 Crore rupees or a lady winning Big boss season 6...Its not just ends here if a Pakistan  starts war some says its because of Delhi Gang Rape. I just don't want it to be used as adjective because its nothing to be feel proud of or getting reminded of.
We should feel shame on ourselves and on our bloody society which we lives in every time before talking about it.
Last one month was very hyped and profitable for all the media houses, news channels, the ice cream guys at India gate and Jantar Mantar, and everyone who was somewhat related to a public portal.
We have seen the campaigns at India gate and Jantar Mantar, the shouting news reporters, fighting for justice youngsters, an anti social Muslim leader, some chopped of soldiers, a silent prime minister,an impotent government, a crying dad and mom and last but not least a dying girl in hospital who Finally died.
These are the Recap for last one month but where we are standing today after all these series of events, nothing has been done so far to those six men who brutally raped 23 year old  JYOTI SINGH PANDEY.They are sitting in Jail and eating free breakfast ,lunch and dinner by the money we are paying to government as Tax.Just 2 hearings till date in which nothing happened other than some lawyers fighting in court among themselves.
The news which was headline for first some days is now fading from the papers as well as from our minds...Initially we discussed it for hours then for minutes and now not even for seconds in whole day.
I am quite confident that it will go like this and everyone will forgotten very soon as there is dialogue in movie RANG DE BASANTI “Janta ki yadasht bahut kamjor hoti hai”.The girl will never get peace weather it one month one year or a decade.

I am repeating again If nothing is going to happen and we cannot do anything against it then all I want is that DELHI GANG RAPE does not become a adjective for us which we will use everytime anything happens in our society.

Jinhe Naaz Hai....

I was just humming to the tune of Rabbi Shergill’s song "Bilqis". Like most of his previous songs (remember Bulla?), it takes a keen ear to comprehend the lyrics and when I would hear Bilqis, the only lines I could understand clearly are:

Jinhe Naaz Hai Hind Par, Who Kahan The

Just a while ago, I heard this song, yet again and somehow, got totally haunted by it. That’s because I only realized it now that this is not a song per se but an account of sorts, to pay tribute to four heroes of our country! Isn’t it a remarkable concept to narrate injustice in a way that it actually hits us? And while Rabbi is popular with his Sufi songs, this one goes to a different a level altogether. In a melodious yet inspiring note, Rabbi sings out emotions of four of our unsung heroes in the quest for what they truly believed in (and died for).

Mera Naam Bilqis Yakub Rasul
Mujhse Hui Bas Ek Hi Bhul
Ki Jab Dhundte The Vo Ram Ko
To Main Kharhi Thi Raah Mein
Pehle Ek Ne Puchha Na Mujhe Kuch Pata Tha
Duje Ko Bhi Mera Yehi Javab Tha
Itno Ne Puchha Ki Mera Abb Saval Hai Ki
Jinhe Naaz Hai Hind Par Vo Kahan The Jinhe Naaz Hai Vo Kaha hain,

Muslim woman from Gujarat, five-months pregnant and mother to a three-year-old son, Bilqis Yakoob Rasool is one of the victims (and how!) of the Godhra massacre of February 2002. Fourteen members of her family were killed during this attack. Bilqis reported it all to police, but the case was closed in January 2003. The police said that those responsible could not be found. In spite of the risks in taking the unusual step of speaking out, Bilqis continued to pursue justice for herself and her family. You can read the complete series at Zammrs The case was closed due to lack of strong evidence but has reopened for further investigation and is still ongoing.

Mera Naam Shriman Satyendra Dubey
Jo Kehna Thha Vo Keh Chukey
Ab Parhey Hain Rah Mein
Dil Mein Liye Ik Goli
Bas Itna Kasur Ki Hamne Likha Thha
Vo Sach Jo Har Kisi Ki Zuban Thha
Par Sach Yahan Ho Jatey Hain Zahriley
Jinhe Naaz Hai Hind Par Vo Kahan The Jinhe Naaz Hai Vo Kahan Hain

Satyendra Kumar Dubey was assassinated in November 2003 in Bihar due to his fight against corruption in the Golden Quadrilateral Highway Construction. A Foundation has been created in his name to fight corruption in India.

Mujhe Kehte Hain Anna Manjunath
Maine Dekhi Bhatakti Ek Laash
Zamir Ki Beech Sarhak Lakhimpur Kherhi
Adarsh Phasan Jahan Naaron Mein
Aur Chor Bhare Darbaaron Mein
Vahan Maut Akhlaq Ki Hai Ik Khabar Baasi
Jinhe Naaz Hai Hind Par Vo Kahan Hain Jinhe Naaz Hai Vo Kahan Hain

Shanmughan Manjunath, an employee at the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) was murdered for closing down two petrol stations in Lakhimpur Kheri for selling contaminated fuel. This issue stirred an uprising among students at various Institutes including IIM and IIT and has led to setting up of the Manjunath Shanmugam Trust to fight this case as well as focus on governance in the public sector in India.

Maza Nau Aahe Navleen Kumar
Unnees June Unnees Bar
Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Baar Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Unnees Baar
Looto Dehaat Kholo Bazaar
Nallasopara Aur Virar
Chheeno Zameen Hamse Hamein
Bhejo Pataal
Jinhe Naaz Hai Hind Par Vo Kahan Hain Jinhe Naaz Hai Vo Kahan Hain

Navleen Kumar was stabbed 19 times to death on June 19, 2002 as a response to her activist work for the land rights of tribals in Nalasopara, suburb in the outskirts of Mumbai. Her fight was mainly against various builders who had seized land of the tribals through fraud and terror.

Now, as I write this blog, it raises a question in my mind, “Am I proud of my country?” The answer to that is evident in who I am today, and what my country is , defines me in more ways than one.
I hope you are able to answer this question,
Jinhe Naaz Hai Hind Par Vo Kahan Hain Jinhe Naaz Hai Vo Kahan Hain................

The Future Which Was.

When I was child I saw the world with a completely different picture in comparison to the view with
which I see it today. My Imaginary future world was completely hypothetical but definitely far more
beautiful than than world in which we live today.
I used to think by the time I will be young, old and Grey the world will be vastly different and
completely amazing.
I used to watch movies with my big brothers movies on future about science
fiction, aliens, extraterritorial colonies, robots, fairies, flubbers, starship, future humans. This is how my
childhood shaped up thinking that one day I will get to see these things in my life.
One day we will have developed and clean technology,I will be able to go to extra terrestrial colonies.
I have always thought of meeting the alien who is friendly and wasn't different from me who will talk
to me in my own language and will give me gifts.
Some robot will come to save me if I will be in danger someday and will be my friend.
My imaginations didn't end here, I have thought of species that might came into existence by inter
breeding of humans and aliens which will be far more intelligent than us.
Last but the most impressive of all my childhood imaginations that I will meet Mahamanav of Super
commando Dhruv comics.

But as the time passed the kid in me died and I became a grown man who goes to office , earns salary
and sleeps. As I grew up , With me that kid and all those imaginations also died within me.
Today when I sit and think about all that and see the world around me I cannot even see a glimpse of
that world in today's where we live in. Nothing happened of that sort what I have thought of as a kid.
Its so same today or even worse than those years. There are no aliens today but definitely managers
who seem like one.
There is no safer society but definitely some men trying to spread fear among the
society. No extra terrestrial colonies were found but definitely the relations with our neighbor has
worsened so we cannot go their country even. There is no friendship with Aliens but there is office
politics among friends for sure. No superhuman were found but some stupid politicians are there to
stop our growth and development.
I live in this world I survive in this world I enjoy in this world but this is not the world of my
Imagination for sure.

Celebrating Sankranti and Army Day

It was Sankranti yesterday, its army day today. What do these two events have in common? Well it seems as if both the events are totally unrelated. But if we try to have a closer look try to look beyond the obvious Line Of Control (LOC) we might find, what we are looking for. Makar Sankranti marks the entry of life giver SUN into the northern hemisphere, same is also known as Uttrayan or Pongal or Lohri or Bihu, in other parts of our country. But this is not just a Latitudinal migration  it signifies an event wherein the Sun-God seems to remind their children that 'Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya'- may you go higher & higher, to more & more Light and never to Darkness.
Sankranti stands for brightness, Sankranti stands for beginning of light, Sankranti stands for the time when day starts getting longer and thus making our lives more and better. Sankranti marks the beginning of the time when our ultimate Father (the life giver SUN) decides to be with us for long and for good.
Makar Sankranti signifies that we should turn away from the darkness of delusion in which we live, and begin to enjoy a new life with bright light within us to shine brighter and brighter. We should gradually begin to grow in purity, wisdom, and knowledge, even as the Sun does from the Day of Makar Sankranti.
And today our Indian Army is celebrating Army Day. A day to pay homage to the valiant soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. We pay our reverence at the Amar Jawan Jyoti for the martyred soldiers. But why am I celebrating this day when our neighbor country decides to brutally massacre my two soldiers. Why am I celebrating when my so-called-friend Pakistan decides to carry the head of my soldier as a Trophy. Why am I celebrating when everyone from Army Chief Bikram Singh to Opposition Leader Sushma Swaraj To the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are busy in lip worship. Do I really have the freedom I am celebrating? Should I pay homage on this Army Day when my soldiers are being killed for no reason?
Let’s go back to the first word I said. How is Makar Sankranti related with the army ADay? YES it is, in all senses and by all means. Our Army needs to rise now, our senses need to rise, and our morality needs to take shape. So where sun is guiding a new path, we need to tread ahead. We all should take a pledge this Sankranti that “Enough is enough, I will no longer remain quiet”.
This should be the significance and Celebration of Army Day
